ELKI'S THIRD
October 10 is our son's third birthday. This is Elias Lukas De Mesa-Laranas... ELKI (el-kee).
I'm still weeks away from going back to LA and I already feel sad about leaving him. I promised that I will take him and mom next time when dad has a shoot in any part of the world. In ELKI's own words..."that's perfect!"

Nice kid you have there. You still remember me your classmate before?
I now live in Cebu. Funny but true. 3+ years ago, Jerry Jeturian and Jomari Yllana used my then unfinished house as a location for 4 scenes. (whole day). That was my first ever experience (usisero lang)in movie making.
Now I fully understand those viewmaster and DC comics back in the 70s bay. Lastly, ngilngig gyud ka.

Happy Birthday, Elki! My kids' birthdays are coming up, too... one month apart. They're getting old,... and so are we. :)
I hope that "camel" phase is over, if my interpretation is right. I hope the rain has gone away, too. Haven't checked with my family. I should call them. :)

thanks for recognizing me, at last. i actually texted Rey Buhion about this and he was excited also to finally hear from you also. we were the best of friends since grade 4 (SMC, Boys, Cebu USC-seminary) til now. He was my best man in my wedding and to "return the favor" i suppose he got me as his after 6 months.
