Check out this photo guys. I took the shot of the EMPTY hallway, but, I was surprised to see myself in the picture!!!
If you look closer, you will see my head turn towards you. I'm not kidding. Really. Honest. Promise. I swear. I'm turning my head now and I'm right behind you.

That hallway looks pretty haunted... even without the ghoul in the picture hehe.
I can already imagine all those hallway scenes. Awesome!

can u retain the scene where angel locsin went to the comfort room and she saw small, bloody hands on the cubicle door? that is so creeeeeeppy!!!
mabuhay ka Yam! i cant wait to see u'r h'wood version of sigaw. i watched Sigaw the day it was 1st shown and i liked it... ganda ng cinematography. ang galing ni Iza don. sinapawan ni Iza sina Richard at Angel. magaling din si Ronnie Lazaro ba un? at worst si Jomari Yllana.
congratz Yam! sana maka $40M or more ang opening ng "The Echoe" upon its US release!
hmm... seems like an old hallway probably looks scary when seen at night. hehe =p
hey guys check out iza calzado's imdb profile she has a picture there already. yey! haha^^
looking forward to more updates, direk yam...!
nice set...production people must have really worked hard for this...
Tsk..Tsk.. You really had me there Yam. I was really concentrating, staring really hard and inching my face closer not to miss the slight tilt of your face on my direction.
hehehe.. I wont believe your promises na.. promise ;)
before i forget..
LOVE LOVE LOVE the hallway!!
its not outright creepy but more like old building hallway with an eerie atmosphere. :D
that's a very beautiful location. it looks like something awful could happen there.
still waiting for the head turn
thing. Now are we talking just a slight head turn or the full Linda Blair head spin?

You guys are way creepier than me...
It's very scary.
"You guys are way creepier than me..."
LOL
i think the original had even darker hallways and that boosted the creepy-"ness"...too bad there isn't a spiral staircase...that would make the movie even creepier...
hey yam, what are the current earning trends of hollywood remakes of asian horrors? does it spell good?
hope THE ECHO surpasses some records to add some icing on cake! :)
hey yam! how r u? i watched "sigaw" and
you know what im a fan of yours! i hope u can make it "big" there in hollywood! and specially iza calzado i know that she has the talent and the looks. good luck in both of you. and i hope that "the echo" gross more than "the ring" and "the grudge". hehehe
can ask u something? r u responsible for bringing iza calzdo there??? i hope for your early reply... again good luck.

Hi Yam! We r beri hapi 4 all ur success der! naks naman! Balita ko lang sa'yo na magpapakasal na kami ni Mila sa pasko. Apter all dis years, minahal na nya ako. - Ruben
Wow Yam! It looks practically like in the original, only with a different, creepier feel! Great! You're really whetting our appetite fgor the movie!
~*G*~
Is that you Epi? :)
i will never in a million times regret that i am a filipino. i am just proud to have Yam and Iza as one of my country men. from 'the echo' to their future hollywood films, they shall always be known as the tiny fireball from the philippines which striked the whole world and became a sun that shines the universe.
thanks ty_boo80!

Horror in general is having a decline. I think because the audience have grown tired of slashers or blood and gore. The Echo is neither that kind of movie.
the hallway in the pinoy version is creepier.. i think
that slightly cheeped me out...
